SNAPS + RYE is an independent restaurant owned by Husband and Wife team Kell and Jacqueline Skott. It is the result of countless happy hours spent in the buzzing cafes and restaurants of Kell’s native Denmark . When the opportunity to open a restaurant on Golborne Road presented itself they jumped at the chance of recreating a little bit of Copenhagen’s culinary culture in this wonderfully diverse pocket of London.

We refuse to compromise on quality at SNAPS + RYE and choose only the very best produce which we then prepare, cure, pickle, marinate in house . Nothing we serve in the restaurant is pre made or bought in. For this reason our food is not necessarily the cheapest, but good ingredients don't come cheap and we believe that the quality of our food is worth that little bit more.
We didn’t have a reservation but luckily were able to squeeze in after a day on Portobello Road. Had the meatballs - to die for! Very juicy and full of flavor. Definitely very happy we stumbled on this little place!
Really good food options, and even better drink ones (the house snaps varieties are a tempting snare), and outstanding relaxed and friendly service.
We think it's one of the best local restaurants in Notting Hill - great interesting food and just the best service. *****
