On Thursday 16 November, Nadine Levy Redzepi, Noma chef René’s wife and business partner, will be cooking with our Head Chef Tania here at SNAPS + RYE.
The evening, a celebration of Nadine’s cookbook Downtime: Deliciousness at Home, will feature a Nordic menu of dishes from Downtime, including Homemade Potato Crisps with Anchovy Hummus + Salmon Tartare, Cold Prawns in Horseradish Cream and Braised Pork Cheek Ragu with Pasta.
Nadine Levy Redzepi has been chronicling recipes for as long as she can remember. Her Portuguese upbringing, combined with much time spent in France and England over the years and moving to Denmark, where she’s married with 3 children, have ensured that her first book – Downtime – is a joyful combination of cuisines and cultures.
Inspired by her own childhood and life-long love of food, Nadine Levy Redzepi has created a personal and inviting notebook of recipes that bring her family together around the kitchen table. Nadine talks you step-by-step through each recipe with warmth, encouragement and detailed instructions. She ensures that home cooking always feels relaxed and enjoyable and your kitchen becomes the heart of your home, no matter your skill or confidence level. Downtime is the wonderful, simple food that Nadine and the Redzepi family share at home.

Due to the of the nature of Nadine’s book and good old Danish hygge, tables will be sharing.
